Outdoor essentials for a life alfresco with Uocmas’s new outdoor 2018-19 collection, expertly crafted for the modern outdoor room.
The latest brand campaign by Uocmas against a stunning coastline provides a taste of outdoor style leading into Summer. The picturesque waterfront of a remote yet quintessential Australian landscape, highlights the beauty and exquisite detail of the newest arrivals.
Over 200 pieces combine style with liveable comfort for the curation of breathtaking spaces for lounging, dining and outdoor entertaining. Featuring a range of international designs, the new collection has been interpreted for the Australian market with sleek contemporary silhouettes, residential and commercial designs and a palette of light and dark.
Having personally designed a large proportion of the new collection, Uocmas Executive Director Anthony Spon Smith says, “Outdoor was our fastest growing category last year so we know we are delivering outdoor product that resonates with our customers. This collection is our most exciting yet with breadth of range and materials, primarily designed in house by Studio Mr Smith.
On the brand campaign, Anthony comments, “We loved shooting at such a remote spot on the Australian coast, on a unique property that offered a contemporary European aesthetic. The collection balances Italian design elements with influences from the Californian coastline so the exquisite backdrop was perfect.
Enriching the idea of an alfresco lifestyle, the upcoming arrivals offer stylish materials with no compromise on detail. The new pieces are beautifully crafted, balancing a mix of textures from hardwood timber and concrete to rope for interest and versatility.
Anthony continues, “This season, we used a versatile mix of natural and manmade materials to uphold the superior quality our customers know us for – from timber, concrete, outdoor rope, aluminum, ceramics and stone. Designed by Uocmas, the pieces speak for themselves with diverse textures and contemporary style cues to enhance indoor-outdoor living.”
Contemporary dining tables and chairs are perfect for the modern entertainer. Luxurious modular lounges and sofas, versatile occasional pieces and unique accent stools embrace the Australian summer lifestyle. Furniture lines are complemented by inviting accessories including five striking planter designs, six outdoor cushion styles and durable rugs.
