Sixty is the new 40, right? Senior adults at Wilshire are anything but inactive. In fact, our senior adult community enjoys a robust mix of learning, social activity and travel.
HIM is a missions minded organization for all ladies ages 18 and up. We meet on the first Tuesday of every month at 7 p. Using the "Missions Mosaic" magazine published by the WMU, we study, discuss, and pray for missionaries and their mission field.
At its core, the Senior Adult ministry was founded on the belief that this group is perfectly suited to make a significant impact on the lives of others. Through the years they have acquired much wisdom and experience and possess many life resources that enable them to minister to anyone at any age. Most senior adult classes meet on Sunday morning in a traditional format.

Join us Sundays at am, am, and pm Wednesdays at pm. Senior adults meet for lunch on the first Tues. Whatever your age or station in life, you will find an opportunity for fellowship and the possibility for building lasting relationships with others.
Our Family Ministry celebrates and nurtures children from infancy though high school graduation. Every Sunday, led by committed and caring adults, kids open Bibles, sing, learn, worship, and play in safe, consciously designed spaces. Throughout the week, kids enjoy music activities, Play Days parents' days outcamps, and mission opportunities.
This ministry is for all adults age 55 and older. We have seven different Sunday School classes that most senior adults attend plus some short term elective classes. These are excellent choices for you. Heartsong Choir and Hand-Chimes offers senior adults opportunities to minister with their musical talents.
To provide opportunities for spiritual enrichment; provide social and fellowship activities, make available education information pertinent to senior adults and provide opportunities for ministry. Senior Adults, persons 60 and over, are the largest age group in our church. They are also the most faithful in attendance, in giving and in service.
We have a luncheon the first Tuesday of each September through May, with guest speakers ranging from local television and news personalities, attorneys, ministers, singers, mission organizations, and more.
