The seasons are a-changing. Spring has sprung here in Sydney, and with it, arrives a new energy and a fresh outlook. Here are my tips and top Spring trends, to transform your home for the new Season:
A new floor rug can create fantastic atmosphere and change your home in one, simple swoop. It might be a fluffy Beni Ourain rug or a faded Kilim, either way you will achieve an immediate hit of colour and texture that can open up options to introduce other colours into your room.
Invest in textured cushions and throws. Choose a light, chunky knit to add interest or use faux skins and furs to create luxury and a bit of decadence on the back of your sofa or favourite chair.
Bring in colour with potted or freshly cut flowers, group accessories in opposing colours and textures. Keep it organic with a touch of glamour.
At the moment, colours such as warm tans, slate blues, dove grey and charcoals are chic, understated and versatile. They are quite muted, but make for a great backdrop to any style. You can layer these colours easily and you don’t need to be too preoccupied with matching
