Lucia Braham is a talented Sydney based stylist with seven years experience working on some of the most coveted interiors shoots in the country under her belt. Chances are you’ve seen some of her creative prowess whilst flipping through your favourite home magazine.
Currently in one of my favourite cities in the world, Paris, I gave Lucia the near impossible task of putting together her lust list from across the hemispheres. She managed to somehow narrow the list to five, displaying her personal style with season and trends in mind. Below are some of her favourite European finds and pieces inspiring her from back home in Australia.
Moooi Zliq Sofa
This is a sofa that immediately caught my eye when window shopping for furniture and décor in Paris. Designed by internationally esteemed designer Marcel Wanders, this sofa is such a striking piece. I absolutely love the contemporary aesthetic and the contrasting mix of natural, coloured leather with modern polished chrome.
Uocmas IN BED throw
Styled on a chic occasional chair or thrown on the end of a bed, these 100% Mongolian cashmere throws are divine. Charcoal is such a classic shade and Indigo is really on trend in interiors right now.
Brass Tapware by Vola
I’m a big fan of Scandinavian style – minimalist and functional. These latest designs by Danish brand Vola are so timeless but really create a statement in wet areas of the home, adding an on-trend brass accent.
The Fornasetti Candles are fun and unique without being too kitsch. I always love styling with candles and appreciate designs that stand out.
Jieldé ‘Standard’ Floor Lamp
Another one inspired by my time in Paris is the Jieldé ‘Standard’ Floor Lamp with characteristic French industrial style. The ‘Standard’ has been manufactured since 1953, retaining the original form but expanding the designs range. I’d love to find an original at a flea market here in Paris.
