In my opinion, an exposed brick wall adds beautiful character to any interior – and unlike in the 90’s, it doesn’t just have to be used to bring costs down.
From every wall in the house, to just a strip above a fireplace, exposed brick can transcend many different looks and styles – from rustic, to modern, to minimal and contemporary.
One of my current obsessions is exposed brick painted white. It can add an extra dimension to an otherwise plain wall, brining in atmosphere and something tactile. If you are working with a small space, in which coloured or patterned wallpaper would make the room feel smaller, white painted brick can add that extra missing element.
