During my stay in Sweden recently, I stayed at the acclaimed Nobis Hotel in Stockholm. In a stunning historic 19th century building right in the centre of Stockholm (in Norrmalmstorg Square), the hotel boasts over 200 rooms, 2 bars and a great indoor courtyard area that has a great buzz at night.
The hotel prides itself on not being too flashy or excessive – something that probably sums up ‘Swedish Style’ in any case – and has a relaxed contemporary feel.
The hotel’s interior is designed by Swedish star architect Claesson Koivisto Rune and has a durable elegance due to subtle colour choices inside and the exposed original elements of the historic building.
The staff – as usual in Sweden – are ultra nice, intuitive and despicably good looking.
If you need a place to rest your weary head when next in Sweden – look no further.
