The Centennial Hotel in Sydney’s Eastern Suburbs has just undergone an extensive makeover, which should see the famous venue re-establish itself as one of Sydney’s top drinking and dining destinations.
Why you ask? Executive Chef Justin North has come on board with new owners Halcyon Hotels to reinvigorate the well-known venue. North has focused on developing a classic menu that focuses on good value comfort food with a difference, and combined with a stand out interior scheme, the venue will certainly become a home away from home for many Woollahra locals.
Inspired by the gastro pubs and hotels of Europe, the new interior doesn’t miss a beat. Headed up by award winning design group Luchetti Krelle – best known for their fi-touts on Sydney restaurants such as Ananas, Momofuku Seiobo, and the Woolwich Pier.
The eclectic mix of furniture and antiques is set against an impressive collection of contemporary photography flanking the walls.
