Returning to the studio after a recent vacation to blissful Bali, I’m feeling creatively inspired and my batteries are recharged. I couldn’t believe how many amazing eateries there were (within walking distance) from our hotel in Seminyak. We wined and dined till our hearts content, and not only was the food world class, but the stylish interiors were thoughtfully designed and every detail considered.
A relative newcomer to the Bali scene is Latin American restaurant, . The restaurant is all about the five senses – smell, sight, sound, touch and definitely taste! The design team have generated the ultimate synergy of these elements, creating the perfect atmosphere.
Barbacoa’s lofty warehouse style is very on-trend. There are soaring high ceilings with exposed rafters, rustic bricks, sandstone, recycled timber and soft cigar leather banquet seating is on offer for patrons.
The outdoor space features checkerboard emerald green and white tiles with a hand-painted floral motif on the ceiling. Ladderback chairs are paired with café tables in a vibrant mix of turquoise hues.
These design elements ooze comfort, making you want to linger and enjoy the space further. I could just imagine a beautiful Timothy Oulton Scruffy Sofa in situ to put your feet up and enjoy conversation with friends over a cocktail or two.
I’m already planning our next trip back!
