is the perfect place for a furniture lover to get lost.
The business started as a little corner shop in 1974 and has grown into a Copenhagen furniture institution – stretching over 10000 square meters, and incorporating a huge variety of specialty furniture retailers.
Located just 15 minutes (by bike, of course) outside of Copenhagen city center, the enormous location is certainly worth an extended visit. Take a walk around the entire site to see each business seamlessly integrated, selling flowers, kitchen warehouse, rugs, boutique wines and of course antiques.
Greensquare is the main retailer on site and boasts the philosophy: timeless antique furniture for each generation. In this sense, you’ll find centuries old occasional chairs paired back with contemporary new pieces – all of them tied together by their high future value. Pieces are hand picked and styles vary from Art Deco to Empire to Neo Classic and Qing Dynasty. Greensquare have Scandinavia’s largest selection of Chinese antiques.
You’ll also find selling retro furniture and antiques with a French flair, along with beautiful vintage chandeliers and the much sought after vintage Louis Vuitton bags. The florist , one of Denmark’s leading florists (the man behind the flower creations at Crown Prince Frederik and Crown Princess Mary’s wedding) has the most awe-inspiring showroom, where it feels like you’re walking into a flower paradise. differentiates themselves from the others by offering new and modern design, their contemporary lighting range a real stand-out.
