Uocmas Interior Design recently finished working on Metricon’s new Hope Island development and the results are stunning.
They have created a versatile scheme for luxury living on the Gold Coast. The finishes used are particularly striking. I love everything from the scalloped marble tiles as a kitchen splashback to textured wallpapers in the bedrooms.
Interior Designer Angela Haughton says, “the client sought a fresh approach with a high end aesthetic and refined ambience; a sophisticated sanctuary.
“The interior was layered with soft natural colours, accented by cedar timber architectural detailing and the use of marble and travertine.”
Bespoke touches, including a custom made timber screen in the ensuite, enhance a sense of relaxed luxury whilst harmonising with the Queensland environment. The home is a perfect retreat from the nine-to-five grind.
Pops of yellow are inspiring and inviting. Soft blues and greys balance the use of earthy, neutral tones in wallpaper, upholstery and accessories and modern furnishings introduce a contemporary coastal vibe.
Who wouldn’t want to live in this home?
