A meeting for diccuss about the up coming events, will be held on next Tuesday, 9th of March, 2010 at 12.00 noon in PSR. Since this meeting is to discuss about the future projects, participation of all the committee members is compulsory and the members who wish to participate to this event are also welcome.All the 3 year members must participate this meeting. Thank You. ඉදි‍රියේදී ආරම්භ කිරීමට නියමිත නව ව්‍යාපෘති සම්බන්ධයෙන් සාකච්ඡා කිරීම සඳහා වන ප්‍රථම රැස්වීම 2010 නොවැම්බර් මස 17 වන අඟහරුවාදා දහවල් ‍12.00ට PSR(Physics seminar room - physics department) හිදී පැවැත්වේ. මෙහිදී ඉදි‍රියේදී ආරම්භ කිරීමට නියමිත නව ව්‍යාපෘති සම්බන්ධයෙන් විශේ‍ෂයෙන් සාකච්ඡා කිරීමට නියමිතය. මේ සඳහා අළුතින් පත්වු කමිටු සාමාජිකයින් සඳහා පැමීනීම අනිවාර්යය වන අතර මෙම ව්‍යාපෘති සඳහා සහභාගි වීමට කැමැත්තක් දක්වන අනෙකුත් සාමාජිකයින්ගේ පැමිනීමද කාරුණිකව බලා පොරොත්‍තු වෙමු. ඒ දිනට මීලඟ රාත්‍රී නිරීක්ෂණ කදවුර ගැනද සාකච්ඡා කිරීමට නියමිතය.

Explanation:
Reddened light from the setting Sun illuminates the cloud banks hugging this snowy, rugged terrain. Inspiring a moment of quiet contemplation, the sunset scene included a remarkable pillar of light that seemed to connect the clouds in the sky with the mountains below. Known as a Sun pillar, the luminous column was produced by sunlight reflecting from flat, six-sided ice crystals formed high in the cold atmosphere and fluttering toward the ground. Last Monday, astronomers watched this Sun pillar slowly fade, as the twilight deepened and clearing, dark skies came to Mt. Jelm and the Wyoming Infrared Observatory.
